1.      Dr. A. Sai Harini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at School of Agricultural Sciences, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, with over 17 years of combined research, teaching, and industry experience in plant breeding, seed technology, and crop improvement. Holding a Ph.D. in Genetics from Osmania University, M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from ANGRAU, she has supervised postgraduate and Ph.D. students while contributing to rice breeding for biotic stresses like brown planthopper resistance at organizations such as Barwale Foundation and Tierra Agrotech, including marker-assisted selection and germplasm enhancement. Her extensive publications in reputed journals (e.g., Euphytica, Field Crops Research), authored books like Current Advances in Horticulture, and international training at IRRI, Philippines, underscore her expertise in quantitative genetics, molecular breeding, and skill-oriented agricultural education.
